Outreach Support Worker (Bishopbriggs and Greater Glasgow)
Job description
RNIB Visual Impairment and Learning Disability services provide a range of specialist services to people who have confirmed or suspected sight problems as well as a learning disability.
This is an exciting
opportunity for you to work within our Outreach service where you will support the independence and social inclusion of our customers 1:1 either in the
community or within the building based service. Individual support plans are based around each individuals specific needs and interests and activities can include swimming, Rebound therapy, day trips, accessing college, attending music groups and fulfilling volunteering roles to name a few!
Use of public transport will be required as well as the use of some customers own vehicles. All our customers are working towards meeting achievable outcomes that will enhance and maintain their skills and offer them meaningful challenges and we would like to offer you the opportunity to become one of our team who are supporting them to achieve their goals.
