Come and join our team in Belfast as a PR and Communications Officer. Help us to tell our story so we can deliver our vision of a world where there are no barriers to people with sight loss.
Working within our PR and
Communication team, you'll contribute towards the planning and delivery of proactive PR activity and identify, and respond quickly, to short term opportunities. You'll schedule, draft and deliver our social media posts, helping to monitor and evaluate activity across these channels. You'll analyse and evaluate RNIB media coverage, and research, write and edit press releases and other written materials such as blog posts, features and statements.
With experience of working within a team and contributing towards the day-to-day running of a team, you'll have the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders such as colleagues and customers. You'll have experience of working with media on both a reactive and proactive basis, and the ability to remain calm and in control when under pressure ensuring deadlines are met. You'll be able to understand complex information quickly and to present and explain it to others.
