Job description
RNIB Northern Ireland is recruiting for a Support Worker to provide sighted assistance to blind or partially sighted employees to enable them to complete job tasks effectively.
This role will be based in Belfast, with approximately 15 hours per week on an 'as and when required' contract basis.
As Support Worker, along with admin duties, you will provide where
required sighted guidance for the employee to locations throughout Northern Ireland which aren't always accessible by public transport.
The successful candidate will have understanding of issues experienced by people with sight loss and preferably have previous experience of supporting blind and partially sighted people..
