Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Eye Health Information Assistant to provide timely, accurate and effective information to enquirers over the telephone and in writing, on specific eye conditions, treatments and eye health issues.
Your role will be to promote the service and assist in developing and improving the information available relating
to sight conditions.
This position would be ideal for eye health professionals or someone who has experience working in a supporting role in optometry. You will have knowledge of a wide range of eye conditions, their treatments and the sources of support available. You will be familiar with the NHS, particularly knowledge of the structure and functions of the health service and the functions of professionals within the eye health field .
