Job description
RNIB's Employment Service want to support as many blind and partially sighted people as we can to find and stay in work. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference to the lives of blind and partially

This
rewarding role will see you developing careers for people with sight loss. It involves working with blind and partially sighted people on the Eye Work Too project. This sought after project supports blind or partially sighted people to develop the skills and experience necessary to gain employment. Commitment to this project involves taking part in an eight week Pre-Employment programme that includes:
A personalised employment development plan
One to one pre-employment workshops that include, job search, CV development, interview skills and more
You will also be working on the Workable (NI) project that supports a number of blind and partially sighted people to retain paid jobs across every employment sector throughout Northern Ireland.
You'll need training and advice-giving experience in an employment setting and the role requires at least two years proven experience in a work programmes environment or equivalent. The role will be shared with an existing employment officer on a job share basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION
BENEFITS PACKAGE
We're the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and we're here for everyone affected by sight loss. Working for us means working for one of the UK's biggest charities, supporting almost two million people living with sight loss in the UK.
RNIB is committed to being led by our customers (blind and partially sighted people), and one of the ways we do this is through active involvement and engagement in many of our work activities, including the recruitment of new members of staff.
Please be aware that blind and partially sighted volunteers may be involved in the recruitment and selection process for this vacancy; including reviewing job applications and CV's, shortlisting and interviews and selection tests.
RNIB is committed to being an Equal Opportunities organisation and we welcome applications from people with sight loss.
