The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) are recruiting for 2 Cleaning Operatives to join our large site in Gateshead.

You’ll be part of a team who deliver a variety of daily tasks to provide a clean and safe environment for all site users. Uniform, cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided.

Daily shared tasks will include:

• Cleaning all work areas including office and production environments (dusting, sweeping, hoovering, mopping)
• Cleaning of the on-site facilities including 20 toilets and urinals, canteen, approx. 40 desks, staff rooms and several public areas.
• Maintain cleaning products and re-order new supplies
• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)

Skills you’ll need to be considered:

• Experience of cleaning in large commercial buildings.
• Experience of health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies
